Find them by clicking here and start ordering your parts online.

Save Your Hydraulic Pump!
We have had a lot of orders for hydraulic pumps lately. It's not that we don't mind selling them but we just hate to see a $500.00 part order that could have easily been prevented. If your tractor is equipped with a loader or a backhoe... listen up!

Most loader valves or backhoe valves are plumbed directly into the pressure line of the tractor. They also, almost always, have nifty little "quick couplers" attached to both ends of the hoses. This is extremely convenient when removing your loader. Just pop the couplings and attach the two ends together. The problem occurs when these couplings come apart and the engine is running. The pump then has nowhere to push the oil. Something has to give and it is almost never cheap. The most common, and expensive failure is when the complete pump housing cracks. This requires a whole new pump assembly because the housings are not sold separately.

How do you prevent this?
1- Be sure to tie your hoses out of the way. If a rock, branch, or even your tires catch the hoses they will pull the couplings apart.
2- Be completely sure that when you couple the hoses back together they are COMPLETELY latched. Be sure that the outer ring snaps all the way back. If the ring is not locked, the ends will come apart.
3- Be sure to keep your couplers in good shape. Some cheaper male ends use a small point instead of a ball to open the tiny valves in the ends. These points can get damaged and not allow the valves to open- causing the same problem as if you had them unconnected.
