OverRunning Clutches
What does it do? This handy little clutch will keep the rotational momentum of your mower from ""pushing"" your tractor after the clutch peddle is pushed in. A ""must have"" if you are using a mower on a tractor without a live pto. Without one of these- when you press your clutch pedal in when you are mowing, the mower will continue to spin the transmission & you will not be able to stop moving forward until the mower comes to a complete stop. No Tools Installation! Standard 540RPM 6-spline 1 3/8"" spline diameter. FITS ALL YANMAR, DEERE, KUBOTA, AND OTHERS, TRACTORS. Usually ships on same day."

2 Styles Available- Both work great. Just a difference in the amount of time it takes to install & remove.

The Quick Detach clutch is installed by pressing the spring loaded button and sliding the clutch on top the shaft. This type of clutch can be installed in about 30 seconds.

Standard Clutch Instructions.

a
Locate the hole through the pto shaft. This is where the roll pin that came with your clutch will go.

a

  • Remove the two grease zerks from the clutch. Align the inner holes with the outer holes by turning the inner part of the clutch. Insert the roll pin through the first two holes but not so far that you block the splines. Slide the clutch on to the shaft so that the roll pin is in line with the hole in the pto shaft. Drive roll pin into pto shaft. Make sure that the pin is in all the way but not so far as to catch on the outer hole. Test to be sure that your clutch is functioning by putting your pto in gear (with the tractor's engine off!) and try to turn the adapter's shaft. It should turn freely in one direction but not in the other.
