IGNITION SWITCH - ORIGINAL STYLE_

Switch now includes 2 easy grip keys (Hoye Exclusive!). Very heavy duty original John Deere style switch. Has the metal flap that keeps water & dirt out of key hole when not in use. Also has the momentary counter-clockwise position for glow plugs if you have them.

Shop Notes: This style switch is a direct replacement switch. If your tractor did NOT originally have a glow plug then you will have a 3 terminal switch in your dash. The instructions below show how to wire up the switch for either style.

The switch can be a tight fit (but it will fit just fine) when installed on some of the smaller tractors. Be sure that your switch terminals are not going to touch the hour meter or it will cause a short circuit. If your lower dash panel is slightly bent(like someones knees hit it when getting on or off) then the switch may be angled up too close to the hour meter. You may need to pull the dash back outward to give you room.
